On Thursday Josh , Sam , Isaac and Josh competed in the 2010 Aoraki Maths competition. When we got there the nerves were building while looking at the the other teams. The president of Aoraki Maths called out for the runners to battle like gladiators for the best table.Then the runners went up to the judges from Timaru girls high and handed in our school names then we got our first question. We had 30 minute to answer as many question as we could. The man called out on your marks, get set, go it felt like we were at the Olympic games .30 minutes had past quickly as we placed 5th and out of 62 and got 14 question right.Which drawing with Ashburton Borough B and Mt Hutt College A. It was tough but rewarding in the sense that we came 5th.It was a truly exciting catching up with a few old mates.
