The year 6’s in room 7 are doing the Starship Hospital phone appeal for the their air ambulance for people in need or badly injured. So far we have 144 phones in the box. Our goal is to reach 155 phones to win a Sony Handycam recorder. The boys in this project are Felix , Flynn , Dallas and Joe.The girls in this project are Shania, Mia-rose, Sophie and Georgia. If we reach 915 phones we win a interactive white board. The phones get sent over to Auckland and get remanufactured in countries such as Hong Kong and China so they can be re-used. We have been lucky that so many people, some even from outside our school, have donated phones.
